Reno Tahoe Liberty FC 9-3 Primero de Mayo

The Reno Tahoe Liberty FC Ladies provisional WPSL team conquered their first test in preparation for next years inaugural season in the west by defeating Primero de Mayo from Sacramento by score of 9-3.

The Liberty FC ladies struggled the first 15 minutes of the game to get organized and adjust to the length of the grass at Richard L. Jay-Moana field and allowed the first goal of the match to go 0-1 early in the first half. It was not till 10 minutes later that the Liberty FC ladies started to get a foothold on the game and scored the first goal of the club.

The end of the first half saw both teams with a balance amount of possession and adjustments to their game, but it was not until the second half that the Liberty ladies got a hold of the game and dominated possession and play as the ladies from Primero de Mayo clearly were affected by not only the heat, but the altitude as well.

The game was attended by approximately 180 spectators in what was a clear and breezy evening in Reno.
